Lasagna with Layers
“On Sunday mornings, the house would always smell like pasta and sizzling onions,” says Amy Daniel Mann, as we arrive at her parents’ Chickasaw Gardens home for Pasta Night on a recent Sunday evening. We were so excited to get the invitation (we’d been hinting at it for a good while), that we could hardly contain ourselves enough to be good company. You see, that wonderful aroma that made its way out of the kitchen, through the dining room, and into the entry hall of Susan and Dan Daniel’s home was the makings of the finest lasagna either of us had ever had.
