Mastering Mother Sauces
The classic Mother sauces are the backbone of all French cuisine and of many regional sauces and flavors. This is a hands-on class making four classics: Bechamel, Veloute, Espagnole and Hollandaise. Think of all the sauces you will be able to swirl-up after you've learned the classics!
The menu includes: Bechamel and Tomato Sauce with Baked Rigatoni; Espagnole Sauce with Mushroom Strudel; Veloute Sauce with Potatoes, Peas and Pearl Onions; and Hollandaise Sauce with Steamed Asparagus.
